Bumbal is a smart SaaS solution, that makes organising and planning delivery and service at any address possible. Thanks to Bumbal, many wasted kilometres are avoided and the sustainability and service of a company is improved. Several modules that are a perfect fit make this possible: smart algorithms and user portals provide suitable delivery appointments with customers. Advance route planning software takes care of the most efficient ride planning. The status on the day of execution is easy to follow and the digital registration of an appointment or delivery is child’s play thanks to the integrated mobile drivers’ and delivery-man’s APP.
Job description
We are looking for programmers eager to learn and who are not afraid to pick up new methods and techniques. Within a small team you are going to look for the balance between the supply of stable and reliable solutions and the application of techniques that at least maintain the lead that Bumbal has on its competitors. You have a great sense of responsibility and show initiative and ownership where necessary.
In small scrum teams you work together with colleagues on several sprints to develop various modules. All the time you will be able to further develop in one or more fields.
Job demands
– HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or academic education or demonstrable level.
– Minimum of 1-year demonstrable work experience as a (Object Oriented) PHP developer

– You have a flexible disposition and can make pragmatic choices, when necessary

Technical competencies
– PHP, MySQL
– Experience with a well-known PHP framework such as Laravel, Lumen or Zend
– Pre: familiar with developing and using (RESTful) API
– Pre: familiar with working in docker containers
– Pre: MongoDB
Offer

There are possibilities from 24 to 40 hours per week. We like to build up a longer-term relationship and are therefore looking for people who want to stay at Bumbal for a longer time. After the usual first temporary contract, there are, provided there is mutual satisfaction, quickly possibilities for a permanent contract. The salary is in line with market practice and, of course, the cost of commuting is refunded and there is a fair pension scheme.
