Bumbal makes use of the following cookies on its website www.Bumbal.eu:

  • Statistical cookies to keep track of how visitors use our website and to acquire reports on this. Bumbal uses the service Google Analytics here.
  • Marketing cookies, also called advertising and tracking cookies, are used for commercial and promotional ends. The data gathered in this way, are linked, analysed and used for the development of profiles, segments and target groups to be able to show, as relevantly as possible, information and personalised Bumbal offers on third party websites.

Google Analytics
Bumbal makes use of Google Analytics to keep track of in what way users use the website. This information is transferred and stored by Google with the IP address of your computer on servers in the United States. GPS Tracking in Bumbal Mobile Drivers App
Determining the driver’s location is essential for the operation of Bumbal’s Track & Trace services. Location data, such as latitude and longitude, are collected and stored each time the Bumbal app is used. This information is displayed in the secure Bumbal web interface, but we do not share it with third parties. When the “background location” feature is enabled, the device’s location is also tracked when the app is active in the background. This means that the Bumbal drivers app periodically updates your location, even when you are not actively using the app (while it runs in the background). If this is not desired, tracking of the app’s location (both during active use and when it runs in the background) can always be disabled through the device settings. However, this function is necessary for the optimal functioning of the track & trace services within Bumbal.

In addition, you are entitled to withdraw your permission, if given, for data processing or raise objections to Bumbal processing your personal data and you are entitled to data portability.
