Swan Products is a full-service company in the field of supplying and assembling high-quality office furniture, also for home workplaces. The company’s range consists of various office products, such as desks, chairs, tables, storage cabinets and much more. Swan Products wants to offer even more service in the delivery process and on-site assembly and they are now going to organize that with Bumbal. After a short search for a good solution, they found Bumbal. This quickly turned out to be a good match.
Bumbal is linked to the Swan Products customer portal, which means that orders are transferred directly to Bumbal’s software. The planning is then performed fully automatically based on the available capacity. In addition, the planning tool takes into account conditions that have been set. The planner monitors whether everything is planned as desired and of course has the last saying. The planner can intervene at any time and make changes to the current planning.
When the planning is final, customers are also automatically informed about ETA status. A day in advance, customers will receive a message (e-mail and/or SMS) about the expected arrival time. On the day of delivery, the customer can alwayc check the last expected arrival time. Bumbal calculates this based on the last position of the driver and the remaining part of the trip to the specific customer. All in all, the customer is better informed, the (automatic) planning takes much less time and trips are driven more efficiently.
