Making appointments with customers is not easy. It is often difficult to get in touch and then plan possible changes properly and efficiently. For example, if the appointment is not convenient for the customer. The planning has already been completed and you still have to add the changed appointment somewhere. To solve this, Bumbal has the optional appointments function. With the Bumbal appointment function, your customer can easily make an appointment for delivery or service at home. Of course in a recognizable set-up of your own corporate identity.
With the online appointment solution, your customer chooses a time slot for delivery. Bumbal’s smart software only offers the customer the options that fit efficiently into the planning. The planning algorithm calculates everything in advance and takes into account the current transport planning and the impact of the stops on shift and driving times, route layout and stop sequence. Is a route full? Then this online appointment system no longer offers this option in the customer portal. In addition to the planning algorithm, you can also create certain day – region schemes if desired. This way you can organize the available vehicle capacity (trips) as you wish. With Bumbal’s optional appointment software function, you automatically invite customers by email or SMS to make an appointment and indicate a time preference. This invitation brings the customer to your personalized – and therefore recognizable – customer portal, with your company logo and own texts. The customer can choose a timeslot that suits him or her best. That is why this online appointment system is a good investment in customer experience.
Via Bumbal’s online appointment system, your customer will also immediately automatically receive a confirmation email or SMS that the data/timeslot has been received in good order. The Bumbal online appointment software automatically schedules the preference and draws up a provisional planning. It is now up to the transport planner to check the provisional planning, adjust it if necessary and convert it into the final planning. If desired, you can automatically send a message via Bumbal with the final planned time (or ETA: Estimated Time of Arrival). This immediately kicks off the track & trace. Optionally, you can also send the customer a link with which the customer can check up the latest actual arrival time on the day of delivery/execution. And so he or she can immediately see whether the driver will meet the planned schedule!
