Bumbal launches its new web environment — developed with dedication by the Bumbal team. Currently, Bumbal customers can use both the old and the new web interface side by side. As a planner, you can easily switch between the two, since they’re connected to the same database and show identical information. With Bumbal planning software, creating a transport plan has now become easier than ever.
Simplified transport planning from now on
The new web interface offers planners improved insights and ease of use, including:
- a single clear planning screen instead of three separate views;
- a customizable layout for the planning screen;
- extensive filtering options;
- better visibility into depot activities, grouped tasks, and completed actions per trip/route;
- a handy overview of package lines across multiple activities (including completed ones);
- quick access to irregularities, attachments (photos or signatures), and notes on completed tasks;
- convenient summary bars for activities, routes, and maps;
- a significantly improved planning board, including trip statistics
- continued development — summer 2025
The new web environment is constantly being improved. Around summer 2025, the following new features are expected to be available:
- enhanced recurring planning functionality;
- new customer portal (track & trace and appointment scheduling);
- improved track & trace system, including logging of actual kilometers driven;
- integrated reporting (replacing the separate reporting environment);
- lightning-fast appointment scheduling, including optional price differentiation;
- expanded view for capacity planning;
- driver scheduling to easily manage driver availability and unavailability
The new web interface provides more accessible, real-time information for planners. This gives them better control and access to all the necessary data to make the right decisions—supported by Bumbal’s powerful, advanced AI planning algorithm. Filters have been significantly expanded, and the planning board now has a redesigned calendar-style view, offering deeper insights. We’re also actively working on a new driver app—more information will follow soon.
