Greentools works with appointment planner within 2 weeks

Greentools, a supplier and service partner of a wide range of garden machinery and accessories, is getting started with Bumbal to plan customer appointments smartly and efficiently. Greentools offers a variety of garden machines and tools that help make gardening work easier, such as (robot) lawn mowers, tillers, plows, chainsaws, and chippers. They also provide repair and regular maintenance services. The garden industry experiences clear peaks in the season, making it necessary to organize many customer contacts in a short time. Greentools aims for the best communication with customers but wants to spend less time on it. This is possible with Bumbal.

Easy and smart customer appointment scheduling

To streamline the maintenance of lawn mowers and other garden equipment during peak season, Greentools has chosen Bumbal. With the smart transport and appointment software, Greentools can automatically plan pickup and delivery times with customers in batches. The delivery times, also known as ‘stops,’ are uploaded via Excel into the system, and Bumbal then automatically organizes the appointment with the customer. Customers choose their appointment that fits the ongoing schedule

Customers will now receive an invitation from Greentools to choose a time that suits them. The appointment they make will always fit into an ideal route for Greentools. Bumbal ensures this. The options customers can choose from are pre-calculated by the Bumbal algorithm within the ongoing schedule. Regardless of which option the customer picks, it will always be efficient. Customers greatly appreciate the freedom of choosing pickup or delivery times, while businesses can maintain an efficient plan. Scheduling customer appointments has never been easier.

Planner remains in control of transport scheduling

The customer automatically receives a confirmation of their chosen preference. However, the planner always has the ability to review and adjust the schedule if needed. In other words, the planner remains in control of the planning. Once the schedule is finalized, the customer will automatically receive a track & trace message with the expected arrival time. When the equipment is picked up for repair or returned, the customer will also receive an automatic notification. All required information, including digital pickup or delivery receipts with photo and signature, is instantly available online for both the customer and the planner.

Ready to Go in just two weeks!

In October, Greentools went live within two weeks. The account was customized for Greentools, and the planner received an online user training session. Bumbal also provided guidance in the order entry via the Excel upload. Greentools was fully supported during the startup, and thanks to the fast, tailored implementation, they were able to start using Bumbal’s automatic planning software just before the peak season.
