Bumbal communication function is expanded

Bumbal has a communication function in which you can automatically send messages to the recipient based on a number of fixed trigger points. Examples of this are a track & trace message and a digital packing slip. These messages can currently only be filtered (mapping) based on tags (order characteristics). The following three additional filter features are now added:

  • zones;
  • activity type (delivery – pick up (return) – service)
  • brands (e.g. deliveries from multiple BVs)

Smarter filtering = smarter work

The three filter attributes mentioned above are added to the tags. In this way, Bumbal users can filter much more specifically (mapping) which messages should be sent for which (type) of orders/activities. For example, a different track & trace message for delivery than for a return. Or a different message for a delivery in a busy city center than for a delivery in a rural area. You can now also adjust language differences based on zones. For example, a German email template for German customers. So customer friendly!

Communication is key

In addition, there will be an important expansion in the communications function later this year (around the summer). This is an extension that allows you as a user to define messages yourself based on multiple selectable trigger points. Consider, for example, a message of a irregularity registered by the driver. You can also create multiple types of messages for different types of recipients. For example, a confirmation message to a recipient that the defect registration has been recorded and that a response will be provided within 24 hours. And also a defect report (with a photo taken by the driver) to the customer service department.
