New Web Environment: More Insights and Ease of Use
The new web environment is now available to all existing Bumbal customers. As a planner, you can easily switch between the current and the new planning screen—both environments are connected to the same database, so the information is identical in both.
The new planning interface offers improved visibility and usability for planners. Key features include:
- Advanced filters
- Instant insight into load rules, irregularities, and attachments
- A cleaner layout (from three screens down to one)
New: Generate and Print Barcodes
In the new web environment, a “Generate and Print Barcode” function has been added. While you could already scan barcodes via the Bumbal Driver App during loading and unloading, you can now also create your own barcodes within Bumbal.
This is ideal for businesses that want to work with barcodes but either don’t have or don’t want to use their core system for it. This significantly reduces the chance of errors during loading and unloading—leading to more reliable and efficient deliveries.
Barcode Features at a Glance
- Import barcodes from your core system
- Automatically generate barcodes in Bumbal
- Scan barcodes during loading using the load list function in the Driver App
- Scan barcodes during delivery or when (re)loading at a customer location
These features are included as standard in the Bumbal Pro subscription. Scan statuses can also be sent back to your core system in real time.
Coming Soon: Even Smarter Scanning
Later this year, the Bumbal Driver App will be expanded with a so-called “barcode scanning happy flow”. This means drivers will be able to scan barcodes more easily, without unnecessary steps or decisions. Failed scans and missing products will be automatically logged in a standard flow—making deliveries even easier for drivers.

For those who want to get even more out of barcode scanning, optional features are available:
- Label printing function (compatible with Zebra label printers): easily select and print order lines in bulk
- Multi-scan function: scan multiple barcodes in a single action
