Hopping Borders is a specialty beer wholesaler. The company imports and distributes beer from the best breweries around the world. They then supply this to Dutch catering entrepreneurs and liquor stores. Hopping Borders<\/a>\u00a0 has been growing strongly recently and delivers their orders with their own vehicles. Transportplanning has become an increasingly complex and time-consuming puzzle. Hopping Borders was looking for a solution that would allow them to make efficient planning quickly and without hassle. Bumbal came out on top.<\/p>\n

Fast and automatic transport planning<\/h2>\n

The specialty beer company immediately noticed the reduction in planning time. Due to the automatic transport planning, they had time left for other activities. In addition to the reduction in planning time, the company also has direct access to the Bumbal drivers APP<\/a>. With this, trips and stops can be handled digitally and paperless. In addition, this system uses full track & trace software<\/a>. This allows both the planner and the customer to see in real time when an order is being delivered.<\/p>\n

Systeminterface between transport software and Douano<\/h3>\n

Hopping Borders supplies beers from more than 100 breweries from no fewer than 30 countries. The company works with Douano’s ERP system. Douano<\/a> specializes in automating beverage wholesalers, breweries and distilleries. Bumbal can easily be connected thus a seamless digital operation is realized. Due to the systeminterface between Douano and Bumbal’s automatic transport planning, orders are automatically forwarded to Bumbal. They are then immediately optimally planned for the available vehicles. The planner can check the planning made and, if desired, always adjust it manually. Status updates of planning and execution are also automatically passed on to Douano. In this way, the transport is fully automated in one fell swoop. Cheers!
